JCI Entrepreneur Metropolitan, also known as JCI E-Metro, was chartered in 2000.
The organisation aims to develop young individuals as business and community leaders through empowerment and sharing.

The organisation has hosted numerous national and area projects. It was the first local organisation in Malaysia to bring in the Creative Young Entrepreneur Award in 2006, which they hosted in 2007 and 2008.

JCI E-Metro has had a friendship pact with JCI Hong Kong Jayceettes since 2005, Tanjung Aru since 2010, and JCI City Singapore since 2007. The organisation has produced 1 National President, 4 National Executive Vice Presidents, 9 National Vice Presidents, 1 Asia Pacific Development Officer, 10 JCI Senators, 2 ASPAC speakers, and 2 World Congress speakers.
JCI E-Metro has made significant contributions to the Penang community. It was the first and only local organisation in Penang to sign an MOU with the Penang Chief Minister’s office as the Penang State Council for the Penang Transportation Masterplan. The organisation was also the first and only local organisation in Malaysia to win the e-award of Best of the Best categories at the 2013 World Congress for the flagship project “Hearts for Hope,” which aims to provide aid to underprivileged children.
Another notable flagship project of JCI E-Metro is the Entrepreneur Round Table, which aims to connect aspiring entrepreneurs with successful business owners and leaders for mentorship and networking opportunities. JCI Entrepreneur Metropolitan is an organisation that strives to develop young leaders in business and community while positively impacting society.
